A Trustico® partner account puts you in control of frequent SSL Certificate purchases. Depending on the plan applied, it provides preferential pricing, bulk discounts and account features that a standard retail account does not carry.

Applying is free and there are no ongoing fees or charges. You control your own margin and set the price your customers pay, and you pay only for what you use.

Every application is reviewed once the partner form is submitted, and the plan applied to your account is confirmed at that point.

Our goal is to enable web hosting companies, internet service providers and online businesses to integrate SSL Certificates and security products into their own product range.

Offering Leading SSL Certificate Products

You can offer your customers industry standard SSL Certificates from our own collection alongside those of leading providers. The range is continuously updated and expanded to meet changing requirements.

Our order system is linked directly to the issuing Certificate Authorities (CA), which means orders are processed in real time and fulfilled automatically.

Preferential Partner Pricing Structure

Partner pricing is displayed in local currency by default, based on United States Dollars (USD). All prices, including prepaid credit balances, are calculated from USD.

This allows direct savings from our suppliers to reach you without the impact of foreign exchange variance or fluctuating market conditions. Partners who prefer to view and pay in USD rather than their local currency can request this at any time.

Prepayment remains available for partners who prefer it, and it is required for the two purchasable Webhost plans described further down this page.

Alongside our standard partner prices we are able to offer a tiered pricing structure and bulk purchasing discounts upon request.

Trustico® 30 Day Credit

Upon approval, our credit facility is applied to an account for continuous use. It allows up to 30 days to settle an invoice, providing a temporary reprieve from cash flow pressures.

Private Label

The Trustico® partner service covers many different SSL Certificate brands. We will never send your customers to our retail website or contact them with marketing material wherever possible.

Essentially, we regard you as our customer and your customers are exactly that, yours. During the ordering process we may be required to collect information about the end user for validation purposes, though you are welcome to use your partner details in all other aspects.

SSL Certificate Validity and Partner Responsibilities

Partners supplying SSL Certificates to their own customers should understand the distinction between the license validity period and the validity of each issued SSL Certificate.

Licenses may be purchased for periods of up to five years. Industry regulations set by the CA/Browser Forum limit each issued SSL Certificate to a maximum validity of 200 days, and they are generally issued for 199 days.

Where many SSL Certificates are held, monitoring tools that detect what is actually installed are worth considering, so that a reissue is prompted before an expiry date arrives.

Reseller Support

Alongside 24 hour ordering through our fully automated system, partners have access to our support department to assist with the everyday running of the account.

Support is available by e-mail and through our messaging platforms, and covers commercial assistance, marketing material and technical guides.

Our support department reviews partner orders and will assist with practical suggestions to help retain customer satisfaction. If an end user reaches out to us directly, we treat them in the highest regard on your behalf.

Partner Plans

Four plans are available. Two are pay as you go and are applied to your account when your application is reviewed, and two are purchased with Trustico® Prepaid Credit to unlock deeper discounts.

Each plan is described below, and the pricing table that follows lets you compare rates across all of them.

Webhost VIP PAYG

This is the standard plan for partners who resell, and for Information Technology companies and consultants. It is applied by default to accounts of that kind.

Being pay as you go, no Trustico® Prepaid Credit is required to operate the account and each order is paid for as it is placed. It carries a saving of at least 30% against our retail prices.

Business Partner PAYG

This plan is intended for businesses and organizations that do not resell SSL Certificates, but need the additional functionality or billing arrangements that come with a partner account.

Pricing on this plan matches our usual retail pricing, so it carries no discount. Its value lies in the account functionality and the payment arrangements rather than in the price.

It is also pay as you go, so no prepayment is required and each order is paid for individually.

Webhost Basic Plan

The Webhost Basic Plan is purchased with Trustico® Prepaid Credit and unlocks discounts beyond both pay as you go plans. It suits partners with steady ongoing volume.
